I was raised camping and adventuring, spending hundreds of summer hours in the back seat of a hot truck as we drove all around North America. We visited places like Zion National Park, Yellowstone, and closer to home in Banff, Jasper, and many more mountain communities. I was lucky as a kid to have parents ingrain this idea of travel into my bones.
Once I discovered travel and adventure photography, I knew I had found my passion in life. I want to help people use photography to tell the stories of their adventures and the areas they see. I believe in the power of places and the stories they have to tell, and I believe that photography can tell so many of these stories.
I started my photographic journey as a photojournalist working for various media organizations. Still, I never really found my voice as a photographer working in this field. Since I started focusing on travel and adventure photography in the last six years, my true passion for photography has blossomed. It began with a study abroad program at the University of Glasgow. I had the opportunity to explore much of Scotland, England, Denmark, Norway, France, and Italy. It sparked a love of travel and exploration that fuels me every day. I can’t wait to see what wonders the world puts in front of me when I head out with my camera on my back and sturdy shoes on my feet.
There are marvellous stories to tell in the mountains, deserts, forests, oceans, and cities worldwide. Let’s get out into this big, beautiful world of ours and tell them. Let’s adventure.
It'd be Fantastic To Adventure With You
