Banff Adventure Elopements & Weddings

Packages & Investments

If you're considering an adventure elopement in Banff National Park, planning can seem daunting. That’s where I can come in to make it a stress-free experience. An adventure elopement photographer can assist with all aspects of planning, from selecting the ideal location to finding the best spots for breathtaking photos.

Choosing the perfect location for your adventure elopement, whether it's a mountain vista, hidden waterfall, or remote beach, is essential. With deep knowledge of Banff National Park, Lake Louise, and the Canadian Rockies - I can offer suggestions based on years of exploring and photographing this area; including the best time of day to shoot for optimal lighting.

On the day of your elopement, I can be your guide and support. I can assist with logistics, such as transportation, equipment, packing, and timing, to ensure things run as smoothly as possible. Before heading out I’ll help you understand what you need to pack and bring with you for your elopement. Once we are in the field, I’ll ensure that we get the best possible images and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera.

Most importantly, I will capture the essence and story of your adventure elopement. I’ll document the beauty of your surroundings and the love between you and your partner. These photos will serve as a cherished reminder of the unforgettable day you shared in Banff National Park.

The Importance of Print

In this digital age, it's easy to forget the importance of printing images, but for something as meaningful as your elopement, taking the time to print and display your images is a decision you'll never regret. While the memories of your elopement will live on in your mind and in the cloud, printing images from your special day can help you relive those moments and share them with loved ones for years to come. The images I will capture as part of your mountain adventure elopement can become fine art pieces that will bring beauty and memories to your home, and act as heirloom pieces.

We print our images on the highest-quality, sustainable fine art papers and metals using eco-friendly inks that resist fading for over a century. Printing your photos on fine art paper and metal transform them into stunning, gallery-worthy art pieces that add a touch of elegance and personality to any space.

Our fine art paper, which is typically made from cotton or alpha cellulose fibers, provides a tactile and textured feel that adds depth and dimension to your images. This paper also has a matte finish that minimizes reflections and glare, making it perfect for displaying in any lighting condition. Fine art prints on paper are also known for their longevity and resistance to fading, ensuring that your cherished memories will remain vibrant and beautiful for years to come.

Metal prints, on the other hand, offer a modern and sleek look that can complement a wide range of interior design styles. They are printed on aluminum sheets that are coated with a special finish to enhance the vibrancy and color accuracy of the image. This results in a glossy and reflective surface that brings out the richness of the colors in your photos. Metal prints are also known for their durability and resistance to scratches and fading, making them a great choice for high-traffic areas of your home.

Whether you prefer the warmth and texture of fine art paper or the modern and glossy look of metal, printing your photos as art pieces for the home is a wonderful way to showcase your memories and add a personal touch to your decor. These prints not only serve as a reminder of cherished moments but also as beautiful works of art that can be enjoyed by you and your loved ones for years to come.

The Process

  • Step 1: Check out the portfolio

Check out the portfolio page to see if our style matches what you are looking for.

If it does, yay! Continue to step two.

If not, no worries! Thank you for stopping by.

  • Step 2: Fill out contact form

If you would like to see if we are available for your dates and have the chance to chat with us, please fill out the contact form.

There are no expectations or commitments at this point. This just gives us a chance to see if we think we are the right fit for you. The more detailed you are, the better we can prepare for our chat.

  • Step 3: Let's schedule a chat

After receiving your message, we will review your request and arrange a time to chat so we can get into more details and answer any questions you have.

We do our best to respond quickly to every message, but our adventures frequently take us out of reception. So some patience may be required at points.

  • Step 4: Decide if we are a good fit

Now that you have had a chance to get to see our work, get to know us better, and ask your questions, it is time to decide if we are a good fit.

If we are, yay, we are so excited! You will find the rest of the process below.

If not, no worries! We are excited to have had the chance to get to meet you!

  • Step 5: Lock in your booking with a retainer

We are so honoured to get to be a part of your adventure!

At this point, we will block off the time we agreed upon exclusively for you. Therefore we do require a non-refundable retainer.

  • Step 6: Plan your adventure

We will work with you throughout the planning process. This will help us understand the timelines, where you want to go, and what types of art you want to create.

We can help guide you on this journey, finding suitable locations, activities, and timelines to help ensure you get the adventure you seek.

We typically have one to two more meetings with you to finalize details.

  • Step 7: The big day!

It’s your big day! You have done all the planning, preparing, and waiting - and now it’s here!

We can’t wait to be in the field with you and to be a part of your special day.

    Time to enjoy your adventure!

  • Step 8: Enjoy your art

You won’t have to wait long to relive your journey. Within three days, we'll have sneak previews of your pictures ready for you to share and immerse again in your special day.

The full gallery will take a bit longer to prepare; you can expect to receive it within 4-6 weeks after your adventure. This ensures you get the best possible images from your session.

You’ll receive your images in a private digital gallery and a compatible phone app where you can download and share your photos easily.

You’ll also have the option to purchase gallery-quality, fine art prints through our dedicated professional printers. Although we offer this option to make creating heirloom art pieces easy, it's entirely up to you. Ultimately, the photos of your adventure are yours to keep and enjoy for personal use.
